Wake Up Pune given award by UNAIDS
The Wake Up Pune campaign has been given an award by UNAIDS India for the activities arranged on World AIDS Day - 1 December 2007.
Congratulations to all who worked so hard to make the day such a success.

We commemorated World AlDS Day on December 1st to re-iterate our resolve to unite in the fight against HIV. The Commemorations were truly outstanding, Please accept our hearty felicitations for your excellent contribution. Your organization is one of the 9 that are being awarded for the best commemoration and documentation of the event.
More than 90 organizations uploaded information on their events on the "World AIDS Day" portal (http://www.worldaidsday.org.in), which proved to be an innovative platform for mobilizing new ideas from diverse organizations that came together to spread awareness on HIV.
As a measure of appreciation of your commitment, it is a privilege for UNAIDS to present your organization with the WAD 2007 memento. We are confident that your commitment to the cause of AlDS awareness and response will continue to make a significant difference in the lives of people.
