“Medical reimbursement bill”

A Govt Employee died in Dec 2008 (due to HIV+) at local hospital. He was working with Zilha Parishad. His medical Reimbursement Bill File lying with DHO, Zilha Parishad from couple of months. Is there any Govt. Resolution about not to sanction Medical Reimbursement DUE TO THE Employee is HIV+. Or is there any GR regarding HIV+ Medical Reimbursement. Please help in this matter.


I have spoken to Avinash, the team leader of DISHA (Deep Griha’s Integrated Services for HIV & AIDS).

He says there is NO reason that this person’s family should not have received medical reimbursement. In fact, they should have had it within 30 days. This seems like a clear instance of discrimination.
