Starting in June, there will be an HIV Bootcamp 1st Sunday of every month. These will be held at Deep Griha at 2 pm unless otherwise announced. On the 3rd Sunday of every month, there will be a special bootcamp on a variety of topics. These special bootcamps will include capacity building as well as in-depth education on HIV-related topics.
Also starting in June will be WUPY Sessions, held on the second and fourth tuesday of every month. WUPY stands for Wake Up Pune Youth, which will we define as anyone between 16-30. These more informal gatherings will include a lot of discussion, some education, as well social events, outreach, and exposure visits.

US researchers say they are a step closer to understanding why some people have natural protection against HIV.
They believe rare individuals who progress very slowly to Aids when infected make white blood cells that are better at fighting the virus.
The findings, published in Nature, may help international efforts to design an effective Aids vaccine.
But the research team at MIT and Harvard says any such vaccine is at least a decade away.
The findings relate to so-called "elite controllers" - a small number of people who, when exposed to HIV, progress very slowly to Aids or never develop it at all.

A unique health insurance scheme for PLHA in Maharashtra has successfully completed a year, in partnership with Network of Maharashtra by PLHA (NMP+), Population Services International (PSI)- a NGO and insurance company Star Health and Allied Insurance (SHAI).
